The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights announces that its next regular period of sessions will take place from February 23 to March 12, 2004. Hearings before the Commission will be convened between Monday, March 1 and Friday, March 5, 2004 inclusive.

The Commission reminds parties who wish to request hearings that Article 62(2) of the Commission’s Rules of Procedure provides: “Requests for hearings must be submitted in writing at least 40 days prior to the beginning of the respective session of the Commission. Requests for hearings shall indicate their purpose and the identity of the participants.”
