FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION BY MEXICO TO THE IACHR 

          On concluding its 116th regular session, the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights wishes to highlight the important financial contribution by the Government of Mexico.  Part of the funds will be earmarked for promotional events and observation tasks in areas such as the human rights situation of migrant workers and their family members, the work of human rights defenders, and women’s rights in the hemisphere. 

          The IACHR would like to express publicly its gratitude for the contribution, which is a concrete means of assisting the strengthening of the inter-American human rights system.
