            The Secretary of the Permanent Council presents his compliments to the permanent representatives and wishes to inform them that the Chair has convened a special meeting to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, the fortieth anniversary of the American Convention on Human Rights, and the thirtieth anniversary of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.
 

            The commemorative meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 11, at 10:00 a.m. in the Liberator Simón Bolívar Conference Room.  Attached is a copy of the order of business for the meeting.
