(Declaration made at the time
of ratification)
The Government of Mexico
ratifies the Additional Protocol to the American Convention on Human Rights in
the Area of Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights on the understanding that
Article 8 of that Protocol shall be applied in the Mexican Republic in the ways
and according to the procedures contemplated in applicable provisions of the
Political Constitution of the United Mexican States and its enabling
regulations.
